This is a great addition to my home school curriculum.
Great for what it is. The authors writing is getting better through the series. The book would work well as a read aloud because each chapter is its own adventure. In the same genre as Life of Fred, it's a fun way to introduce or reinforce science concepts. this series seems about right for 4th grade and up.
It's subtle learning woven into an adventure story. I love that the kids in the book have to learn something in order to succeed at their mission, rather than have some inherent gift that they discover within themselves that gets them through.
