"Jenever is a traditional alcoholic drink from the 1600s. The way to drink it is to have the shot sitting on the bar, and with no hands sipping the almost overflowing bubble of liquid, (more civilized than Spring Break style though). From there it’s sipped to enjoy the range of flavors. This pub’s décor is from the 16th century, and has a distillery, workshops and tasting rooms. Not only is the name of the pub itself humorous (Wynandfocking), but each mixture has its own name and character. One example is Bride’s Tears and a personal favorite is Half and Half, originally a mistake in the factory until they tried it!"
"Amsterdam is best seen by bike. Ride like a Dutch local around the city and enjoy what there is to be seen outside the city center. You can find bike lanes everywhere and bikes get the right of way. It’s best to get away from the craziness of the city centre and from the tourists wandering onto the bike lane (because that’s not you anymore!)."
Picking the wrong museum can be torturous (especially if you're hungover); with this tour you'll see the tattoo, hash and marijuana, photography, and sex museum! As alternatives I've included the Van Gogh and Rijk's Museum.

Good itinerary if u are alone .. But doesn't work if you are in a group and end up going in busy season where the queues are long to get into the museums.. Sometimes can end up boring if you plan to visit all the suggested museums .. However thoroughly recommend anybody looking to know where to start and what to do if have no clue about Amsterdam .. It helped me a lot with my choice of restaurants and priorities .. However it would be great if there was some introduction into the history of Amsterdam in the initial pages. It is worth buying as the tips suggested in the book can save you more than what you spend for the book. And when you plan follow the itinerary as it i make sure you book all the things online to save time or else the whole plan collapse.Product details

I love Amsterdam. This tour travel guide is a lot of fun and it covers a side of Amsterdam that others may miss.
